La Cuadra del Catalín is not a tourist accommodation nor is it licensed as such. This is a private house whose host rents 4 private rooms. It is located on a cliff facing the sea and with a good part of the property bordering the Camino de Santiago. A beautiful walk between trees and shadows takes you in seven minutes to Arenal de Morís Beach and its beach bar. From this beach you can continue the Camino de Santiago or walk the coastal path that runs along the edge of the cliffs and links the 5 beaches of the municipality of Caravia. Although it seems like the end of the world, our block is not isolated. Just 5 minutes by car you have the A-8 and the N-632 that take you to Ribadesella and LLanes in one direction, and to La Isla, Colunga and Lastres in the other. Cangas de Onís, Covadonga with its Lakes, The Picos de Europa, the Jurassic Museum and Cantabria, are very close to La Cuadra. If you want to get to know this beautiful area of the Principality, La Cuadra del Catalín is the perfect base camp.
